Lasagne Rolls

From Julie. 7 ingredients

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cook noodles in boiling water until almost tender, about 10 minutes. Drain. Spread on a sheet of aluminum foil to cool.
  2. Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce on the bottom of an 8-inch square baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cheese and egg. Sprinkle and stir in oregano. Spread evenly on noodles. Using a pizza cutter, cut down the middle of the length of each noodle. Roll up. Place, cut side down, in the baking dish. Cover with more spaghetti sauce. (Can make ahead to this point. Cover with tin foil and refrigerate.) Cover dish and bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes.

Notes

Marked in the cookbook's favorites list as a favorite of Kelsey, Bronwen and Emma. (Listed in the cookbook index as "Lasagna Roll-Ups".) Gift Recipe Favorites has a "Low Fat Lasagne Rolls" version using 8 oz. non-fat Ricotta, with 'or until heated through' on the bake time. From the family cookbook “Our Favorite Recipes”.
